What Is OxyGeneo Medical Skin Care?
Oxygen therapy, which started to be utilised in the early 2000s, is applied through penetrating the lower layers of the skin with skin care products that support and treat the skin and subcutaneous layers with the help of high pressure oxygen, which oxygenates the skin. Oxygen therapy, still one of the most popular skin care applications today, is renewed with OxyGeneo technology, which provides stronger oxygen support to the skin, allowing the skin to be repaired more intensively and effectively. Minimizing blemishes and wrinkles on the skin with its new generation oxygen technology, OxyGeneo three-in-one care application cleanses the skin at an optimal level, cleanses it of dead cells and helps it regain vitality.
The 3 fundamental skincare modalities provided simultaneously by OxyGeneo technology are as follows;
- Microdermabrasion and Oxygen Support
How Is OxyGeneo Skin Care Applied?
1. Microdermabrasion and Oxygen Support
The procedure begins with the application of specially formulated, rich-content nourishing gels to the skin to increase microdermabrasion and oxygenation. A capsule named Capsugen®, containing a mixture of calcium carbonate and citric acid, is placed on the probe of the device that will come into contact with the gel applied to the skin and perform the procedure.
When the Capsugen cap interacts with the gel, it initiates the formation of carbon dioxide on the skin surface. While the resulting carbon dioxide bubbles clean the skin deeply, the increased carbon dioxide pressure on the skin surface triggers a physiological response called the 'Bohr effect' on the skin, increasing the oxygen content of the tissues. As a result, blood circulation in the treatment site increases and a blood circulation with a higher oxygen content is provided.
With the increased oxygen, the skin is purified, cleansed, and prepared to receive active substances such as Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Hyaluronic acid, Retinol, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which have optimum skin rejuvenating and anti-aging properties.
Apart from the oxygen support provided by the Capsugen probe and special gel from the inside out, it has another important function. When the gel is in contact with the probe, it starts to melt and foam, forming a rough structure. As a result, a mechanical peeling effect called 'microdermalization' is created on the skin and the skin is cleansed of dead cells. After the first stage, which takes about 10 minutes, the radiofrequency process is started.
This application, which is carried out by transferring radiofrequency heat energy to the dermis, the middle layer of the skin, aims to tighten the collagen fibers by heating the subcutaneous tissue in a controlled manner. In this way, it gives the skin a more lively, full and smooth appearance. The application dose and depth vary depending on the skin type. After this application, which lasts for about 10-12 minutes, a significant tightening is felt on the skin.
In the third and final stage, a personalized mesotherapy formula is selected and applied on the skin using an ultrasound probe without any injections. Due to the high-frequency sound waves transferred to the skin with the ultrasound head, the nourishing and structuring substances in the solution easily penetrate under the skin. In this way, the skin receives the vitamin and minerals it needs using ultrasound waves without a needle.
Skin rejuvenating mixtures containing growth factors, and skin tightening and wrinkle removal mixtures are among the mesotherapy formulas chosen depending on the needs of the person.
